Mott wins close race for Oneida Board PDF Print E-mail

Electors in Oneida County District 7 went to the polls  Tuesday, April 1, for a county board supervisor contest and they reelected incumbent Bob Mott of Pelican Lake.

Mott edged challenger  Dennis Schoeneck of Enterprise, 177-172.

Mott has served on the county board for two years.

District 7 includes Enterprise, Schoepke, Monico, Peihl, Three Lakes (Ward 2) and Stella (Ward 2). Three Lakes Ward 2 voters backed Mott 43-18.

In three other districts with interest for Three Lakes and Sugar Camp voters, incumbent Supervisor Dave Hintz ran unopposed in District 13 (Three Lakes wards 1, 3 and 4); incumbent Supervisor Scott Holewinski ran unopposed in District 14 (Sugar Camp wards 1 and 2); and incumbent Supervisor Greg Oettinger ran unopposed in District 8 (Pine Lake wards 2 and 3, and Stella Ward 1).
