The second of three persons arrested in a massive marijuana growing operation on South Farming Road in Arbor Vitae in February 2012 was sentenced in Vilas County Circuit Court Monday, avoiding prison and ordered to pay restitution.

Kevin Shumake, 41, along with James Lacson and Ramon Pineiro, was charged with a total of six felonies, each involving a residence north of Eagle River owned by Jim Will and an Arbor Vitae residence owned by Regina Grey, both of which were used to grow marijuana.
