Anthony P. “Tony” Smaglick of Rhinelander died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He was 57.
Mr. Smaglick was born Oct. 11, 1956, in Milwaukee, to George and Rosemarie (née Gordy) Smaglick.
He graduated from Nicolet College with a degree in business management, and owned and operated Autumn Painting and Drywall.He married his wife, Vicky, June 6, 1997.
His interests included fishing, cooking, the Green Bay Packers and spending with his family.
Mr. Smaglick was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John; and two sisters, Gwen and Janet.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kevin (Michael Larson) Cooper of Wausau and A.J. (Mindy) of Rhinelander; one daughter, Ashley (Timothy Shore) of Rhinelander; two brothers, George (Kathy) of Land O’ Lakes and Tom (Jenny) of West Bend; and two sisters, Dianne (Bill) Asplund of Oneida and Donna Hicks of Milwaukee; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 780 Iverson St. in Rhinelander.
Family and friends are encouraged to share a favorite story or remembrance as part of the service.
Visitation will precede the service from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.
