|Hunters ask DNR questions on transporting deer, using tags|

In a new twist this year, the annual spring deer herd status meetings were also held in conjunction with the Spring Fish and Wildlife Hearings in all 72 counties in the state last Monday.
The herd status meetings, held locally in Rhinelander for Oneida County residents and in St. Germain for Vilas County residents, provided an early opportunity for hunters and other interested individuals to discuss the current status of the deer herd and ask other deer management questions.In addition, local wildlife biologists presented
