|Pineiro gets probation, restitution in Vilas marijuana-growing case|

The last of three persons, Ramon Pineiro, 36, of Goldbar, Wis., involved in marijuana growing operations at rented homes on Whisky Trail north of Eagle River and South Farming Road in Arbor Vitae,q was sentenced Monday in Vilas County Circuit Court, but avoided any further jail time and received five years’ probation.
Pineiro, along with James Lacson and Kevin Shumake, were taken into custody in February 2012 by authorities who executed a search warrant at 1399 South Farming Road.Vilas County District Attorney Albert Moustakis told the court Pineiro
