Mary Ann (née Frankow­ski) Burback, longtime resident of Three Lakes and Milwaukee, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was 71.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emily (née Latus) Frankow­ski; and four brothers, Richard, Jerome, Joseph and Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Herman “Butch”; three daughters, Wendy (John) Wartzok Moecher, Dawn (David) Weimar and Shannon (Michael) Hall; one son, Shawn (Pamela); four brothers, James “Jimmy” (Ingrid), Eugene “Gene” (Amy), John “Jack” (Janice), and Michael “Mike” (Ginny); nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass Greenridge Chapel, located at 4747 S. 60th St. in Greenfield, Sunday, May 4, from noon to 4 p.m., followed by a short prayer service.

The service is set Monday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Roman’s Catholic Church, located at 1710 W. Bolivar Ave. in Milwaukee.

Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to FORCE,  a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and supporting the community on fighting hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, in tribute to Mrs. Burback.
