Helen Corriveau, age 87, of Eagle River, Wis., passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at her residence.
She was born March 7, 1927, in Mooresville, Ind., to parents Ed and Goldie Simpson. Helen moved to Eagle River, Wis., in 1964. She worked at First National Bank and Draeger O’Brien Law Offices.
She then moved to Neenah, Wis., where she worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp. for 30 years.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Johnson, in 1998.
She loved sharing her home with her husband, Bob, and friends in the beauty of nature on the lake in the North Woods.
Helen is survived by her husband, Bob Corriveau, of Eagle River; daughter, Jayne Weingarten; brother, James Simpson of Mooresville Ind.; three grandchildren, one great-grandson and nieces and nephews in the Mooresville area.
Helen touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in Mooresville at a later date, where Helen will be placed next to Paul Johnson in Mooresville Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
