Districts here top state for graduation rates

Schools in the North Woods continue to have high school graduation rates significantly above the state average, according to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

While Wisconsin as a whole had a four-year graduation rate of 88% for the 2012-’13 school year, Northland Pines graduated 100% of its seniors, Three Lakes 95.1%?and Phelps 100%.

Pines is on track for the current school year to repeat the 2013 statistic, according to Principal Jim Brewer.
