|Course opens after harsh winter|
The long winter left the greens at St. Germain and Plum Lake Golf Courses unscathed and in the best spring condition in recent years.
Golfers Dave Brown of St. Germain and Russ Kuthe of Arbor Vitae started their golf season by playing at courses with conditions that allowed them to open earlier in the spring.
“We finally got to play at St. Germain once it opened,” said Brown. “The greens are way better than they were last year. I would say they are in excellent condition and the ball was rollin’ pretty well.”Matt Goska of Eagle River was putting
