Pines girls track team competes at Regional in Tomahawk and Sectional in Bloomer

The Northland Pines High School girls track team advanced two relay teams and four individuals to the WIAA Sectional meet in Division 2 after competing at the Regional in Tomahawk last Tuesday.

The Eagles found the Sectional competition Friday to be tough, and the team wasn’t able to advance any athletes to State.

“Our team has worked all season to perform their best at this meet in hopes of advancing to the Sectional meet, and as a collective group, we did just that,”?said Pines coach Josh Rhode.
