Lions Club announces plans for Fourth of July festivities

The Three Lakes Lions Club will hold its 62nd annual Fourth of July Parade and pancake breakfast in downtown Three Lakes Friday, July 4, with the breakfast slated from 7 to 11 a.m. and the parade at 9 a.m.

According to Lions Club President Don Sidlowski, who also serves as parade chairman, this year’s parade theme will be “Having an Old-Fashioned Fourth in a New-Fangled World.”

In keeping with tradition, the name of the parade grand marshal will not be revealed until the week before the parade. In the meantime, Sidlowski is calling for all area businesses, organizations, families and individuals to enter a float in the parade and be a part of the town’s celebration.
