Emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 70 in front of Parson's Chevrolet west of Eagle River about 5:45 p.m. Thursday. According to authorities, a 2007 Chevrolet pick-up truck collided with a 2012 Volkswagon Jetta. St. Germain Elementary School fifth-graders participated in their Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) graduation Friday, May 13. Sixteen fifth-graders completed the five-week and 10-lesson “Keepin’ It Real” DARE curriculum delivered by Vilas County Sheriff’s Departmente Deputy Mike Murray.
