Scott ‘Scooter’ Youngquist PDF Print E-mail

Scott “Scooter” Young­quist, age 57, a 23-year resident of Woodruff, Wis., died on Sunday June 15, 2014, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.

Scooter was born on Dec. 14, 1956, in Antigo, Wis., to Fred and Ruth Youngquist.

He was married to his wife, Sharon, on Aug. 3, 2002, in Woodruff.

He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Scooter was known by many for his big heart and carefree approach to life.

Scooter was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John and Jay.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Youngquist of Wood­ruff; daughter, Amy (Jesse) Sookochoff of Eagle River, Wis.; stepchildren, Kimberly Ernst of Chicago, Ill., Kristen Ernst of Woodruff/South Korea and Justin Ernst of Woodruff; sisters, Patti Siegele of Cape Coral, Fla., Sandy Hipke of Antigo, Wis. and Tina Youngquist of Eagle River; grandchildren: Makayla Ernst (9), Nikolai Sookochoff (7), Elsie Sookochoff (5) and Chloe Sookochoff (3); other family and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday June 28, 2014, at American Legion Post 89 in Minocqua, Wis.
