Vilas County Sheriff
A total of 392 complaints were entered by Vilas County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers last week.The department reported at least 12 vehicle accidents, 11 car vs. deer accidents, four requests for agency assistance, two requests for an ambulance, seven animal problems, two attempts to locate, one battery, six burglar alarms, four requests for citizen assistance, eight reports of criminal damage to property, four disturbances, one report of domestic violence, two fires, two fireworks complaints, four reports of found property, four harassment complaints, 11 hazards, one hit-and-run, four juvenile problems, one loitering complaint, two reports of lost property, 11 suspicious circumstances, eight thefts, two threats, 21 traffic violations, eight trespassing complaints, two weapons offenses, 10 welfare checks, 16 911 hang-ups, five drug problems, and four ATV?problems.
At least 28 calls were referred to the Eagle River Police Department and there were at least 39 informational or procedural entries.
In the past week, at least 13 people were booked at the Vilas County Jail, including four for disorderly conduct, one for battery, one for failure to pay, one for operating while intoxicated, two for bail jumping and four for probation violation.
During the week, the inmate population ranged from 73 to 76. As of March 31, there were 76 inmates.

- 3:36 p.m. - A?one-vehicle accident was reported on Highway 70 near Highway 17 in the town of Lincoln involving Susan L. Reinecke of Park Falls.
Eagle River Police
Among the calls received by Vilas County dispatchers were at least 46 calls for the Eagle River Police. These included one 911 hang-up, one car vs. deer accident, two accidents with property damage, two requests for an ambulance, one report on animal cruelty, two animal problems, six requests for citizen assistance, one civil complaint, two reports of criminal damage to property, one custodial interference, one fire, one fraud, one drive-off, one harassment complaint, three warrant arrests, one juvenile problem, one report of littering, one suspicious circumstance, three thefts, one shoplifting complaint, two hazards, six traffic violations, two reports of trespassing, two utility problems and one welfare check.
Three Lakes Police
This police department reported four 911 hang-ups, one vehicle accident, one accident with injuries, two requests for an ambulance, two animal problems, two requests for motorist assistance, 12 business checks, 10 requests for an extra patrol, one report of gunshots, four hazards, one report of illegal dumping, six informational reports, one report of found property, three reckless driving complaints, two services, four suspicious circumstances, four traffic stops, one transport, one trespassing complaint and one vandalism complaint.
