|Four teachers lose Pines appeal for salary level|

Four teachers in the Northland Pines School District lost their appeal of a salary level adjustment after the district held reviews in closed session.
Northland Pines has developed a “pay for performance” salary program with five levels established for salary adjustments, according to District Administrator Mike Richie.“We have very good teachers and these four were no exception,” Richie said. “We have a rubric that details what is expected of teachers at each of five levels.
