The 15th annual Northwoods Relay For Life raised more than $43,000 Friday night at the Northland Pines High School track in Eagle River as participants raised money to find a cure for cancer and offered support to those battling the disease.

The 2014 Relay, which raises money to benefit the American Cancer Society, followed the theme of “The future is so bright. Let’s finish the fight.”

This year’s Relay was held in June instead of August
