I’VE BEEN I’ve been reading the advice of doctors, nutritionists, dieticians and quick-buck charlatans in newspapers and on the Internet for more than 15 years. Sure, the opinions have been conflicting, but if you want to be healthy, lose weight and shrink that stubborn belly fat, here’s what I’ve learned.

The deck is stacked against us. If we are to be slim and healthy, why are all the unhealthy foods made so delicious? Why do food companies have to chemically formulate and enrich their products to make us eat them?
