|Young at heart|
By Mary Friedel-Hunt
A couple of weeks ago, I celebrated my 71st birthday. Frankly, it is the first time I have really given thought to the fact that I am now in my 70s.
When my mom turned 70, I was just 37 years old and though she never looked her age; the fact that she was 70 years old was rather astounding to me. I thought 70 was very old back then. But you know, 70’s not so old now; 70 is a reminder that I have hopefully become a bit wiser.
