I was browsing through an old almanac the other day and came upon a list of “thought provokers.” I found them interesting as well as amusing. A list of some follows:
• You can’t judge women by their clothes these days, there isn’t enough evidence.
• A person has to work himself to death to buy labor-saving devices in this economy.
• Bargain: Something you figure out a use for after buying it.
• All this space talk about going to Mars makes one wonder if we are entering upon a new era or a new error.
