Try mornings, evenings as boat traffic climbs

With summer weather finally here, anglers will see the water temperature somewhere near normal. It has been a long, slow climb to get there, with many detours along the way.
Anglers will see a huge increase in water usage beginning this week, so it might be better to think about mornings and evenings on the heavily used waterways like the Chain of Lakes.
Water levels are much better at this point than last year, with the heavier rains last week helping. Weed growth is better now, but has been quite slow in developing due to the cold weather. The

I have noticed that with the rising boat traffic that it is without a doubt better to go in the mornings or evenings. Seems like it keeps getting worse too!
