Heavy boat driving traffic driving fish deeper on most lakes
By George Langley

Absolutely great Fourth of July weekend weather meant that there was an immense amount of traffic on the water, making it hard for anglers to fish in some cases. This means anglers should consider morning and evening fishing at this time of the summer.
Heavy sunlight penetration also drives the fish deeper during the day, which means that if anglers are fishing at midday, they should be fishing in much deeper water than several weeks ago.
There are now midsummer lake conditions out there, including much higher water temperatures
