|Muskie, walleye fishing improving with cold|

Anglers are now into the late-fall period, with the last-gasp fishermen and -women fishing for trophy muskies and walleyes.
Water temperatures have fallen into the low 40s throughout the area, and none of us would be surprised at a serious cold front with snow sometime in the near future. Even with the color long gone, this is a great time to be outside and enjoy the fall weather before the snow hits and winter is here.
