On Thanksgiving night, I left my friends’ home and drove to my own. It was dark and, as I drove through town alone, I realized that people must have put Christmas lights up in the last day or so. Lights sparkled, filling the town with Christmas energy. I drove over to our main drag through town and, sure enough, Christmas lights lit the street.
