| Johnson wins board seat |
|
By Anthony Drew News-Review Asst. Editor According to preliminary election results, challenger Lorin Johnson won a supervisor seat on the Phelps Town Board after receiving 299 votes. Due to a new election system that allows absentee ballots to be sent via mail, the second supervisor seat in Phelps was undetermined as of Monday afternoon. Although Dorothy Kimmerling holds a lead that will likely see her win the seat, if all seven reported absentee ballots come in for Gene McCaslin, there will be a tie. |
