Panfishing inconsistent, just like spring weather
By George Langley

The only thing North Woods anglers can count on this spring with the weather is that it will be inconsistent. One day it feels like summer and the next day it feels like winter.

The inconsistent weather, including high winds and snow on Monday, has really affected the fishing action and spawning patterns since ice-out. The water temperature has been up and down all spring, making it tough to figure out where the fish will be on any given day.
