Bernadine “Bunny” Venn,  operator of Venn’s Woodland Resort on Eagle Lake for 40 years, left a legacy of $25,000 to the Trees For Tomorrow Endowment Fund following her death in 2011. 
“Aunt Bunny’s gift is her way of supporting and continuing her love of nature and children,” said Karen Olson, Venn’s niece.
The endowment fund is part of a fundraising campaign to transition the school to be a self-sustainable operation. As a nonprofit organization, Trees For Tomorrow has depended on public and board membership support to offset costs for the students it serves.
