Time-tested advice for our graduates

WITH MANY high school and college graduations being celebrated this time of the year, graduates are being challenged by commencement speakers to make wise decisions when it comes to the next steps of their lives.
Over 130 years ago, Robert Louis Stevenson, the Scottish novelist and essayist, devised a number of rules to help people live happier, more productive lives. These rules may be over a century old, but they are still excellent guidelines and are still appropriate for today’s young people.
