The autumn of life
By Mary Friedel-Hunt

Labor Day has come and gone and with it the summer of 2012. Now we enter the most beautiful season of the year — autumn with all its grandeur, crisp, cool air and blue skies.
Many of you who are reading this are in another kind of autumn, i.e., the autumn of your life, as am I. It is the time when all our hard work comes to fruition. It is harvest time. It is time to enjoy all the wisdom we have acquired. If we haven’t already done so, it is time to let go of caring about what other people think and it is time to slow down and relax a bit, something we should have done many years ago.
