John C. “Jack” LeVoy, of Phelps died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Lillian E. Kerr Nursing Home. He was 78.
Mr. LeVoy was born April 24, 1934, in Chicago, Ill., the son of John F. and Verna (Lane) LeVoy.
He was the owner and operator of an automotive electrical rebuilding company.

Lonnie Richard “Dick” Moss of Eagle River died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Our Home K Care in Lac du Flambeau. He was 65.
Mr. Moss was born in Kokomo, Ind., on November 9, 1947, to William A. and Jeanette (David) Moss.
Moss served in the Indiana National Guard and graduated from Butler University of Indianapolis in 1970.

Linda K. Short of Eagle River, Wis., went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Avanti Health and Rehab Center in Minocqua. She was 69.
Mrs. Short was born Sept. 22, 1943, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Jules and Evangeline (Linman) Carstensen.
She enjoyed teaching and volunteering at the Vilas Food Pantry.

Alma L. Shupe, age 93, of Eagle River, Wis., formerly of Sugar Camp, Wis., died on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital.
She was born on July 28, 1919, in South Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Andrew and Agnes (Luebbe) Richter.
Alma was born into God’s family through Holy Baptism on Sept. 14, 1919, and was confirmed into her faith on Sept. 24, 1932.

Gale M. Thomas of Sayner passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. He was 85.
Gale was born Nov. 7, 1927, at home in Sayner, to parents Floyd H. Thomas Sr. and Violet M. (Greisinger) Thomas.
Gale joined the Army at age 25 and served as a cook for two years.

Timothy G. Rimmer Sr., 48, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
Tim was born on Oct. 23, 1964, in Illinois, son of the late Larry and Shirley (Holmes) Rimmer.
Tim was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors.

Alma Shupe of Eagle River, formerly of Sugar Camp, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013. She was 93.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Eagle River. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church preceding the service.

Ann St. Louis, 86, Phelps, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, Jan. 19, 2013, at North Star Hospital in Iron River, Mich.
The daughter of Roza Reves-Adamovich and Adam Adamovich of Eagle River, born Jan. 28, 1926, in Eagle River.
Ann worked many years as a health aide at Lillian Kerr Nursing Home, Phelps, Wis., and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Dorothy M. Webster passed from this world on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Leo; daughters, Donna Chase-Sailor and Cathy (Greg) Brown; son, Paul (Kathy), seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her extended family includes two sisters-in-law, other family members, and numerous nieces and nephews.
