Margaret A. Barnhill died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012. She was 91.

Mrs. Barnhill was born June 5, 1921.

She and her husband owned Red Wing Trading Post in Eagle River.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Esmond

Paul R. Carlson, age 58, of Rhinelander, formerly of Eagle River and Conover, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at his home.

He was born Nov. 13, 1954, to Carl and Esther (Danielson) Carlson in Youngstown, Ohio.

Paul went to elementary school in Conover, and graduated high school in 1973, in the Chicago area.

He worked as an auto mechanic, food service route

Charles “Chuck” Hosey, age 81, a resident of Land O’ Lakes, Wis., formerly of Oregon, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at his home.

He was born on April 28, 1931, in Oregon, to Charles and Frances (Gessell) Hosey.

He retired from Nagel Lumber Co. in Land O’ Lakes.

Chuck served in the National Guard of Oregon in

Ronald Krum, 81, of St. Germain, Wis., passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Ron was born April 4, 1931, in Sheboygan, to John and Lorraine (Graefe) Krum.

He graduated from Sheboygan North High School and joined the U.S. Army shortly thereafter. He served his country in Korea and at the completion of his military service, he returned home.

Herbert A. Kuehling passed from this life into his eternal home on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 19, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., to Albert and Frances (née Phitzmeier) Kuehling.

He attended public school in Chicago, until his parents purchased Edgewater Beach Resort on Lac Vieux Desert in 1941.

He was a student at Phelps High School and graduated in 1946. He also served in

Gloria M.  Temen Walton, of Three Lakes died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013. She was 87.

Mrs. Walton was born Jan. 9, 1926.

Her hobbies included painting, gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting and travel.

She was preceeded in death by her sons, Philip Majewski, Steven Majewski

Charles “Charlie” Wolfer died Jan. 17, 2013, one day before his 82nd birthday.

He was a lifelong resident of Eagle River, graduating in 1949.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed

Raymond H. Baer of Water­smeet, Mich., died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. He was 86.

Mr. Baer was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Melrose Park, Ill., the son of John and Olga Baer.

Karolyn Ann “Kari” Behn of Boulder Junction died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. She was 38.

Ms. Behn was born Nov. 17, 1974, the daughter of Michael and Allyson Duwe of Land O’ Lakes.

She was a 1993 graduate of Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua and earned an associate degree from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau in 1995. 

Rolland Hess, age 86, of Adams, Wis., died Friday, Jan. 11, 1913, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wis.

Memorial services are planned for a later date this summer.

Rolland was born Feb. 18, 1926, in Viola, Wis., to  Valentine and Jessie (Croniger) Hess.
