Florence J. LaRenzie of Eagle River died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Taylor Park Health Care Center in Rhinelander. She was 88.
Mrs. LaRenzie was born Dec. 18, 1924, in Eagle River, the daughter of Judge Frank and Alida (née Cook) Carter Sr.
Her hobbies included being a church organist for many years.

Ella M. Lautzenheiser of Mason, Mich., formerly of Eagle River, died Monday, April 1, 2013.
Memorial services were held Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the Mason First United Methodist in Mason, Mich.

Mary Ann J. Marr of Eagle River died Friday, April 5, 2013, at her home. She was 94.
Mrs. Marr was born Nov. 5, 1918, in East St. Louis, Ill., to the late Steve and Sophie Pinterich.
She was married Sept. 28, 1940, in Milwaukee to the late Emery Marr. In 1968, the couple moved to Eagle River where they owned and operated the Chatter Box.

Lucinda “Cyn” Rieke, former summer resident of St. Germain and Eagle River, died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Holiday, Fla. She was 89.
Mrs. Rieke was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Dundee, Ill. She married Harold “Teddy” in 1942 and they owned and operated Rieke and Son Septic Service.

Bobbie L. Swerdlow of St. Germain died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston. She was 73.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti.
Mrs. Swerdlow is survived by her husband, Sherwin; one son, Pete; one daughter, Debbie; one sister, Patricia (Red); and three brothers, Robert (Linda), Frank (Dottie) and Bill (Marcia).

Gladys Mae Adamovich, 91, of Eagle River, Wis., went home to be with her Savior on Monday, April 1, 2013.
Gladys was born July 20, 1921, in Fargo, N.D. Her family came to the Northwoods in 1925.
On Oct. 12, 1940, she married Frank Adamovich. Frank and Gladys purchased and operated Frankies Northside Grocery in 1945, and operated it for 381?2 years, retiring in 1983. Throughout the years they established many lifelong relationships with their

Allan L. Barth, age 77, of Phelps, Wis., died on Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 12, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of Edwin and Erma (Hoffman) Barth.
Allan served in the U.S. Army and after moving to Phelps in 1983, he owned and operated the Sportsman’s Spot.

Warren Bollmann of Burlington, formerly of Three Lakes, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013. He was 85.
Mr. Bollmann was born in Three Lakes, the son of Ray and Elsie (née Bublitz) Bollmann.
Bollmann worked for many years as a mason for Clint Maney, and also served as a member of the Three Lakes Volunteer Fire Department.

Harry J. DeGroot, age 73, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Saint Mary’s Hospital with family by his side.
He was born Nov. 30, 1939, to Peter J. and Dorothy (Dodder) DeGroot in Union Grove, Wis. Harry grew up on a dairy farm. He graduated from Union Grove High School in 1957.
Harry married the love of his life, Marlene Moe, on Nov. 18, 1961, at First Congregational Church in Union Grove.

Arthur “Art” Kalbus of Phelps, formerly of Fort Atkinson, died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his home. He was 46.
Mr. Kalbus was born Jan. 15, 1967, in Oconomowoc, the son of John and Arlene (née Weber) Kalbus.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and stock-car racing. He was also active in dirt-bike racing with his son.
