Justine White-Richards

Justine White-Richards of Eagle River died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Our House in Wisconsin Rapids. She was 70.

Mrs. White-Richards was born April 28, 1942, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Neeland and Justine (née Ber­toncel) Bamke. She married Ronald Richards June 21, 2002.

She was employed by Mercy Hospital as a registered nurse, School District of Madison and Marathon as a social worker and as a self-employed registered nurse.

Eileen ‘Bunny’ Margaret Dasler

Eileen “Bunny” Margaret Dasler (née Warrick) of Minocqua, 66, died on April 7, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, of complications from toxic shock.

Eileen was born on Nov. 19, 1946, along with her twin sister Loreen, to Howard and Eileen (Mattison) Warrick.

She graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1964, and married Theodore W. Dasler on May 4, 1968. Together they had five children and six grandchildren.

Brian Pietenpol

 

Brian Pietenpol of Phelps, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, died Sunday, April 7, 2013. He was 46.

He was born July 24, 1966, in Sheboygan County, the son of Neil and Carol Pietenpol.

Mr. Pietenpol worked as a machinist for Lakes Precision in Three Lakes and previously for Bemis Manufacturing in Sheboygan Falls.

Irene Treadway

Irene Treadway, a long time North Woods resident, died on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Avanti Nursing Home in Minocqua. She was 96.

Treadway was born on June 18, 1916, to Jackson and Pearl Treadway in Stanton, Ky.  She taught at  Crandon, Armstrong Creek, Laona, and the DePere School Districts until she retired in 1978.

She moved to the North Woods permanently in 2000.  Her hobbies included sewing knitting, needlepoint, cross stitch and plastic canvas projects.  She was a member

Robert O. Baker, age 90, of Sheboygan, passed to Eternal Life on Friday morning, April 5, 2013, at Sheboygan Senior Community.

Warren R. Bollmann

Warren R. Bollmann of Burlington, formerly of Three Lakes, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation in Burlington. He was 85.

Mr. Bollmann was born in Milwaukee Dec. 18, 1927, the son of the late Ray and Elsie (Bublitz) Bollmann. He married Joann Schiller Sept. 15, 1979, in East Troy.

He worked for many years as caretaker for the Belvedere Park Association in Delavan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and his hobbies included bowling, playing pool and playing darts.

Tom Gau­gush, age 86, an Eagle River/Three Lakes area resident since 1977, died on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 13, 1926, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Irma Gaugush.

Margaret Habener

 

Margaret Habener, of Conover,  died Friday, March 1, 2013, at her home. She was 91.

Mrs. Habener was born in Stolp, Germany, April 4, 1921, and came to the United States with her parents in 1924. She attended Girls Technical School in Milwaukee, where she studied cooking and to become a seamstress.

She married Herman Habener in 1941.  They had two sons, Herman “Hank” Jr. and James.

Mrs. Habener lived in Milwaukee until 1966 when she and her husband moved to Conover permanently.  They enlarged their cabin on Stormy Lake (Lofty Pines) that they had built themselves in 1953.

She began working at Olson Memorial Library

Marion ‘Blab’ Kiefer

Marion “Blab” Kiefer of Eagle River, died in her home Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was 48.

Kiefer was born Oct. 21, 1964, in Wabeno, the daughter of Marvin and Betty Bailey.
