Harvey P. Wasikowski, age 84, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his home in Phelps, Wis.
He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Aug. 9, 1928, to his parents, Paul and Mary (Olszewski) Wasikowski.
He was employed at Ladich Co. in Cudahy, Wis., in the metallurgy department for almost 40 years.

Kelly was born in Phelps, Wis., on Oct. 4, 1956, to Patrick and Sharon Brown.
The family moved to Union Grove, Wis., when Kelly and his two brothers were young.
Kelly spent most of his professional life employed by Piggly Wiggly in the Racine/Union Grove area where he worked as a meat cutter.

Mary Elizabeth (Hruska) Evans, age 63, passed away Feb. 12, 2013, at Seasons of Life Hospice House.
She was born to John and Florence Hruska on Dec. 11, 1949.
She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She worked at Mary’s Sunshine Cleaning. She was also a seamstress, cook and a bartender.

Eugene R. Maines of Sayner, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. He was 87 years old.
Mr. Maines was born on Sept. 24, 1925, in Amsterdam N.Y., the son of Arthur and Eugenia (nee Freer) Maines.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; a son, Richard; a daughter, Marilyn; two brothers, Bill and John “Hank” and one brother-in-law, Neal Long.

Cookie Pillsbury of Phelps died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston. She was 66 years old.
Mrs. Pillsbury was born in Ohio Sept. 23, 1946.
Her hobbies included going to flea markets and collecting old teddy bears.

Mary Collette Wells, 80, a 27-year resident of Land O’ Lakes, Wis., and a former resident of Mundelein, Ill., died peacefully at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare All Saints in Racine, Wis., on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
Carole was born on March 9, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late James and Collette (née Curran) Bond. She was raised by her mother, Collette, and stepfather, Erwin H. Weidner.
Carole was married to her husband, Kenneth L. Wells, on Dec. 29, 1951, in Waukegan, Ill.

Lonnie R. Moss of Eagle River died Jan. 26, 2013 at Our Home K Care Inc. in Lac du Flambeau. He was 65.
Mr. Moss was born in Kokomo, Ind. Nov. 9, 1947, the son of William and Jeanette (David) Moss.
Moss served in the Indiana National Guard, and graduated from Butler University of Indianapolis.

Alma Francis Valcq, 87, formerly a resident of St. Germain and Wausaukee, Wis., passed from this life into her eternal home on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff, Wis.
She was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Racine, Wis., to Fred and Theresa (Gold) Oberbuchler.
She graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wis., and later during World War II, worked for the Air Transport Command in Washington, D.C., as a top-secret cryptographer.
