American Legion plans birthday party dinner

The Three Lakes American Legion Post 431 will hold its annual birthday party Saturday, March 15, beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.

The dinner will consist of corned beef and cabbage, rolls, dessert and coffee for a cost of $8.

Commander Gary Madden of the Lake Tomahawk American Legion Post will be the speaker for the evening.

Women’s club plans breakfast

The Three Lakes Women’s Club will hold a breakfast gathering at Cindy’s Country Café Wednesday, March 19, at 9 a.m.

Attendees will order off the menu and pay accordingly.

Reservations are requested by March 14 and may be made by calling hostess Lynne Freehill at (715) 546-3059.

Fishing derby
The Three Lakes Lions Club held its 61st annual Ice Fishing Derby on the grounds of the chamber of commerce Saturday.
