Weight limits to be posted 24 hours before taking effect

According to Conover Clerk-Treasurer James Hedberg, the time and date that road weight limits take effect will be posted on the town website, conover.org, 24 hours before the limits go on.

At this time last year, seasonal weight restrictions were on the roads.

“With the weather this year, there is no telling as to exactly when the road weight limits will take effect,” said Hedberg.  “You can be assured it will be shortly, so now is the time to check your heating fuel supply.”
