Anne Marie Banaszynski

Anne Marie Bana­szynski, 55, Phelps, died late Wednesday morning, Jan. 22, 2014, unexpectedly from massive heart failure and was received into God’s loving arms at St. Claire’s Hospital in Weston, Wis.

She was born April 16, 1958, in Green Bay to Mildred and Theodore Sinclair. Anne grew up in the Pulaski area where she attended Pulaski Public Schools. Anne graduated from Pulaski High School and it is there she also met, fell in love, and married her high school sweetheart, Benedict “Jay” Banaszynski Jr.

Anne and Jay were married on Nov. 11, 1977,

Genevieve M. Burk

Genevieve M. Burk of Rhinelander died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Grace Lodge in Rhinelander. She was 90.

Mrs.?Burk was born Oct. 7, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (nee Smrz) Bendrick.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Thomas (Donna) of Boulder, Colo.; four daughters, Sheila (Bob) Beaurian of Sayner, Patricia of Madison, Mary (Derry) Wright of Liberty, Mo., and Kelly (Scott) Nuchols of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m.

Gloria F. Donovan

Gloria F. Donovan of Eagle River died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. She was 78.

Mrs. Donovan was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Sylvester and Christine (Buscaglia) Saylor. She was raised in Oak Creek and attended school in Bayview.

She married Richard Donovan Jr. May 5, 1962, in Milwaukee.

She was a longtime administrative assistant to Dr. Khang-Cheng Ho

Elaine Gouza

Elaine Gouza, a 50-year resident of Land O’ Lakes, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. She was 75.

Mrs. Gouza was born Aug. 12, 1938, in Suring, to Alfred and Velma Yakel. She married Ted Gouza Nov. 27, 1965, in Land O’ Lakes.

She worked at the Hi Hat Restaurant and Hirn’s Grocery Store in Land O’ Lakes.

Her interests included knitting, cooking, blueberry picking and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Gouza was a member of St. Albert’s Catholic Church

Pamela ‘Pam’ Kolasa

Pamela “Pam” Kolasa, a 30-year resident of Conover and formerly of Chicago, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at her home. She was 67.

Mrs. Kolasa was born Oct. 18, 1946, in Chicago to John and Frances Scott.

She loved the North Woods, cardinals and traveling. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and husbands.
