Rodney M. Nowakowski

Rodney M. Nowakowski of Eagle River died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at his home. He was 61.

Private services were held and burial took place at Arlington Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Bolger Funeral and Cremation Services of Woodruff and Minocqua is serving the family.

Gordon A. Parnitzke, 74, of Eagle River, Wis., died suddenly in the caring arms of the love of his life, Lois, on the night of Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. He joined his father, mother, brother and sisters in Heaven.

Gordon was born on May 5, 1939, in Sheboygan, Wis., to Rudolph and Martha Parnitzke.

Gordon spent much of his life in Sheboygan, where he met his wife, Lois (Miller) Parnitzke. They met at Sheboygan County Teachers College and married on March 21, 1959.

Beulah A. ‘Grandma Beulah’ Sweeney

Beulah A. “Grandma Beulah” Sweeney, 91, of Sheboygan, went on a peaceful journey to be with her Lord on Thurs­day, Jan. 2, 2014, at Harmony House, where she had been a resident.

Born Feb. 27, 1922, in Sheboygan, Beulah was a daughter of the late Avery and Emma Kuehn Buss.

On Nov. 16, 1946, she married James Sweeney.

June B. Vermoch

June B. Vermoch, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in  St. Germain, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 12, 1937, to Herbert and Buellah (Hanaburg) Conklin in Jamaica Long Island, N.Y.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo and participating in PrimeTimers and Shipmates.

John W. Antonuk

John W. Antonuk, age 83, of Three Lakes, died on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, after a brief illness.

John was born on April 27, 1930, in Hiles, Wis.

His early education was in Hiles. After graduating from Crandon High School, John attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

His education was interrupted by service in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an intelligence officer during the Korean War.
