Audrey Romel of Sugar Camp and formerly of Racine died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013. She was 72.

Mrs. Romel was born  March 2, 1941, in Milwaukee,  the daughter of Woodrow and Ruth Craig.

Her interests included watching birds, antiqu­ing, books and her pets.

She was preceded in death

Rosalie O’Neill

Rosalie O’Neill, age 89, a resident of St. Germain, Wis., for 31 years and formerly of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Avanti Healthcare & Rehab in Minocqua, Wis.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1924, in Ishpeming, Mich., to Leo and Lillian Hart.

She grew up in Milwaukee, Wis., and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1942.

She worked at Hart Tool and Die in Milwaukee, and supported the war effort

Robert Raymond Ratke

Robert Raymond Ratke of Eagle River died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Avanti Health and Rehabilitation in Minocqua. He was 73.

Mr. Ratke was born May 11, 1940, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Robert and Naamah (née Kopp).

Survivors include one daughter, Renée (Carl) Skoll; one son, Raymond; two sisters, Rennie (Greg) Bauer, and Ruth; two brothers, Ron and Ray (Amy); and four grandchildren.

Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private

Dennis ‘Denny’ L. Sheeran

Dennis “Denny” L. Sheeran of St. Germain died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He was 84.

Mr. Sheeran was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Milwaukee, the son of Lloyd and Marie (née Juliger) Sheeran.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He married Jeanette “Jan” (née Johnson)

John Albert Caskey
CASKEY

John Albert Caskey, born June 21, 1915, to Sylvester George Cas­key and Agnes Lindstrom Cas­key in Phelps, Wis.

John graduated from Phelps High School. He worked in CMC sawmill.

John joined the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) where he learned the skills of carpenter, electrician and plumber. He did his apprenticeship through businesses in Rhine­lander, and later became a contractor.

He married Marie Fayme Kosky Dec. 21, 1934.
