Memorial service set

Richard Dale Landerman, formerly of Phelps and Alvin, died March 4, 2014, at Oscar Johnson Veterans Hospital, Iron Mountain, Mich. He was 72.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Alvin Cemetery in Alvin.

Mary Jean Smith Caraway

Entered the fullness of eternal life on May 8, 2014, at the age of 90 years, of Milwaukee and Star Lake.

Preceded in death by loving husband, Thomas K. Caraway; beloved daughter, Cathleen Conley; cherished parents, J.J. and Eulalia Smith; and many other special relatives, including grandfather Jefferson Randolph “Soapy” Smith II.

Survived by son James (Bobbi) Caraway of Milwaukee; grandsons James (Nata­sha) Conley of San Diego, Calif., and Daniel (Katie) Conley of Madison, Wis.; and great-grandchildren Liam, Rylan, Eila and Bree Conley.

Robert G. Dickinson Jr.

Robert G. Dickinson Jr., 60, formerly of Wheaton,Ill., died April 30, 2014, at his home in St. Germain, Wis., after a brief illness.

Mr. Dickinson was born Aug. 29, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., to Robert G. and Phyllis Dickinson. He graduated from Glenbard West High School, Glen Ellin, Ill., in 1971 and from Northern Illinois University in 1975.

Bob taught social studies and speech at Glenbard North High School, Carol Stream, Ill., for 34 years, retiring in 2008. He married fellow teacher Nora Van Laten in 1978. They celebrated 33 anniversaries before her death in 2011.

Donald R. Dvorak

Donald R. Dvorak of Three Lakes died Monday, May 5, 2014, at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. He was 57.

Mr. Dvorak was born  June 16, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Arthur and Annette (nee Adamczyk) Dvorak.

He was raised in Niles, Ill., and moved to the North Woods in 1997.

His interests included  snowmobiling,

Ted Marvin

Ted Marvin, age 74, a resident of Three Lakes, Wis., formerly of Harvard, Ill., died Wednes­day, May 7, 2014.

He was born Aug. 26, 1939, to Chester and Lucille Marvin. Ted and his wife, Barb, moved to the Three Lakes area in 2012.

Ted loved nature and the Northwoods. He enjoyed work­ing with all types of wood for wood carving, scrollwork or any other project he came up with. Most of all, he loved his family, he really enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Henry ‘Hank’ B. Sayner

Henry “Hank” B. Sayner of Green Valley, Ariz., and  formerly of Sayner died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. He was 90.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Sayner.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at the church.

Helen Corriveau

Helen Corriveau, age 87, of Eagle River, Wis., passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at her residence.

She was born March 7, 1927, in Mooresville, Ind., to parents Ed and Goldie Simpson. Helen moved to Eagle River, Wis., in 1964. She worked at First National Bank and Draeger O’Brien Law Offices.

She then moved to Neenah, Wis., where she worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp. for 30 years.
