Beulah A. ‘Grandma Beulah’ Sweeney

Beulah A. “Grandma Beulah” Sweeney, 91, of Sheboygan, went on a peaceful journey to be with her Lord on Thurs­day, Jan. 2, 2014, at Harmony House, where she had been a resident.

Born Feb. 27, 1922, in Sheboygan, Beulah was a daughter of the late Avery and Emma Kuehn Buss.

On Nov. 16, 1946, she married James Sweeney.

Beulah worked for Cranberry Products of Eagle River

June B. Vermoch

June B. Vermoch, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in  St. Germain, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 12, 1937, to Herbert and Buellah (Hanaburg) Conklin in Jamaica Long Island, N.Y.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo and participating in PrimeTimers and Shipmates.

June was preceded in death by both parents;

John W. Antonuk, age 83, of Three Lakes, died on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, after a brief illness.

John was born on April 27, 1930, in Hiles, Wis.

His early education was in Hiles. After graduating from Crandon High School, John attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

His education was interrupted by service in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an intelligence officer during the Korean War.

Vivian Dehn

Vivian Dehn, a longtime resident of Eagle River, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital. She was 64.

Mrs. Dehn was born June 9, 1949, in West Bend, to Everett and Angele Taylor.

Her interests included gardening, reading, scrapbooking and collecting.

Martin J. ‘Marty’ Draeger

Martin J. “Marty” Draeger, age 83, died Jan. 1, 2014, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wis.

Marty was born in Racine, Wis., on Dec. 27. 1930, to William C. Draeger and Laura Forster.

Shortly after graduation from high school in March 1951, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was honorably discharged in March 1953 as a sergeant.

In May 1954, Marty married Donna Pansch of Racine. They were divorced in 1980.

He graduated from the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science and joined his father and brother in the Draeger Funeral Home in Racine.
