Disappointed hospital cafeteria is closing to public

Letter to the Editor:

Our family was deeply disappointed to learn that Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital (MERMH) is closing its cafeteria to the public effective June 1.

Reduce number of deaths by buckling up every trip

Media presence great in North

Dear Editor:

I just have to say that we in the North Woods are so very blessed to have the outstanding media presence that we have.

What other small town can boast of having the best weekly newspaper in the state and the small market radio station of the year?

Your commitment and dedication

Military Salute was inspiring

Dear Editor:

Just wanted to say how great the Military Salute special section was in your newspaper. Although  I’ve been here since 1966, there was much I didn’t know about many. The cover was beautiful and the articles were interesting, inspiring and quite moving.
