Posted

An animal shelter fundraiser event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Brule River Tap and Supper Club in Nelma.

Monies collected will be divided between Wild Instincts in Rhinelander and Northwoods Animal Shelter in Iron River, Mich.

There will be an Halloween costume contest, music by Paul Saudan and Just Wayne, 50/50 drawings, basket raffles, a silent auction, door prizes, all-you-can-eat pizza, and free treats for dogs.

Tickets cost $15 each and can be purchased at the door or by calling 906-204-4858.

Both animal shelters are always in need of supplies.

For supply-needs lists or more information on the shelters, visit wildinstinctsrehab.com and northwoodsanimalshelter.com.

Brule River Tap is located at 18036 Highway 55 in Nelma.
