Arbor Vitae man sentenced in drug, other cases

Dustin Kramer, 34, of Arbor Vitae, was sentenced to eight years in the Wisconsin Prison system, 4 years of confinement and four of extended supervision on one felony count of manufacturing/delivery of amphetamine. He was sentenced to two years of confinement and two years ES, which will run concurrent with the first count. Kramer was also charged and sentenced in multiple other cases, with all sentences running concurrently with the above case. 

Montrell Hall, 39, of Appleton, was found guilty and placed on probation for two years on one felony charge of methamphetamine possession at his plea/sentencing hearing last week.

Branch 1 Judge Martha Milanowski stayed nine months of confinement with the probational period with conditions for an AODA assessment and follow-through. There are 70 days of presentence credit in the case of revocation. 

Wilhelm Lemmon, 37, of Eagle River, pleaded not guilty at his preliminary hearing on one felony charge of manufacturing/delivering of fentanyl. 

Detective Sergeant Eric Santefort from the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office also provided testimony during the hearing. A judicial pretrial was scheduled for Jan. 28, 2025, at 10:45 a.m. Lemmons also had his $100,000 cash bond continued in a first-degree reckless injury felony case. 

Tayler Diven, 31, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared for a sentencing hearing on revocation for two cases involving felony bail jumping and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Another felony charge was dismissed, but read into the record for sentencing. 

Diven was sentenced to 12 months in Vilas Jail, and both sentences run concurrently with each other.

Skylar La Barge, 31, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared for a final pretrial on one felony count of substantial battery, intended bodily harm. Prosecutors and the defense had no objections to anything moving forward. The jury trial is set to begin Dec. 4, at 8:30 a.m. 

Phong Xoing, 35, of Wausau, appeared for a status hearing for a bond modification on one felony charge of possession with intent of amphetamine/methamphetamine. Branch 2 Judge Daniel Overbey denied the modification and Xoing’s bond remained at $1,000 cash with conditions. 

A judicial pretrial for the case was scheduled for Dec. 3, before a final pretrial Jan. 22, 2025, and a jury trial beginning Feb. 6, 2025. 

Abdirashid Abdi, 32, of Green Bay, made a voluntary appearance on one felony count of methamphetamine possession last week after missing a court date back in March. Judge Overbey ordered a $500 cash bond with a condition to maintain absolute sobriety. An adjourned initial appearance is set for Dec. 2, at 9:15 a.m.
