BLIZZARD BLAST — Last weekend, the Conover Community Park was bustling with the festivities of Blizzard Blast. In support of local fire and EMS departments, visitors could participate in raffles, an artisan bazaar, horse-drawn sleigh rides and taking a shot at dunking a firefighter (don’t worry, Conover Fire Chief Rob Martinson was kept warm thanks to his ice rescue suit).
