Brian James Valeria
March 30, 1960 – June 20, 2026
Brian James Valeria, 66, of Eagle River, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his home on June 20, 2026.
Born on March 30, 1960, in Eagle River, Brian was a lifelong resident of the community he proudly called home. He graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1978 and went on to spend his entire working life in the logging industry—a profession that was more than a career; it was his passion.
Brian began logging at a young age alongside his father, Rudy, in the family business. From those early days in the woods, he developed a deep appreciation for hard work, the outdoors, and the values his father instilled in him. He truly loved what he did and took great pride in his work as a logger throughout his life.
Those who knew Brian will remember him for his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need. Whether it was lending a hand, sharing his knowledge, or simply showing up when someone needed him, Brian's kindness and dependability left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Valeria.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Janet Valeria; his sons, Ryan (Rachael) Valeria and Cody (Haley) Valeria; his sister, Denise; his brothers, Ken (Kim) Valeria and Doug (Dana) Valeria; along with many nieces; nephews; extended family members; and friends who will deeply miss him.
Brian's legacy is one of hard work, generosity, and quiet strength. He lived an honest life, loved his family, and found fulfillment in the forests where he spent his days. His memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched and in the community he was always proud to call home.
A celebration of Brian's life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified when arrangements have been finalized.
