Flambeau man pleads not guilty to burglary charges
Patrick Williams, 35, of Lac du Flambeau, pleaded not guilty to two counts of felony burglary of a building or dwelling at his arraignment hearing last week in Vilas County Circuit Court. A status hearing was scheduled for Sept. 21, at 10 a.m.
Danielle Boettcher, 53, of Phelps, pleaded guilty to a felony fourth-offense OWI charge and two misdemeanor bail-jumping charges last week during a plea/sentencing hearing in Vilas County Circuit Court. An additional felony bail-jumping charge was dismissed but written into the record for sentencing. Judge Martha Milanowski gave Boettcher two years of probation with conditions for the felony OWI charge. Conditions include 45 days of conditional jail with Huber privileges, maintaining absolute sobriety, and a two-year license revocation and IID. There is also a $2,322 fine payable to the Clerk of Courts’ office. Boettcher will serve 120 days in Vilas Jail in the case of revocation. Judge Milanowski sentenced Boettcher to 21 days in Vilas Jail with five days credit for the two misdemeanor charges.
