Lac du Flambeau man pleads not guilty to drug charge

Jeremy Waterman, 37, of Lac du Flambeau, pleaded guilty to one felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and numerous other misdemeanors at an arraignment hearing last week. Bond was continued in the case, and a judicial pretrial was scheduled for July 21 at 9 a.m.

La Detra Dotts, 36, of Milwaukee, did not appear for a plea/sentencing hearing on one felony charge of possession of narcotics and two other misdemeanors. Judge Martha Milanowski ordered a body-only bench warrant for the non-appearance.

Destiny Deverney, 21, of Lac du Flambeau, pleaded guilty to one felony and one misdemeanor charge at a plea/sentencing hearing last week. Judge Martha Milanowski stayed a sentence of six months in Vilas Jail for a year and a half of probation (18 months) with conditions. There were 44 days of presentence credit in the case of revocation. In that case, the sentence was ordered to run consecutively with anything else.
