Bench warrant issued for Lac du Flambeau woman

Destiny Deverney, 19, of Lac du Flambeau, failed to appear for an adjourned initial appearance on one felony charge of methamphetamine possession and one for bail jumping. The court authorized a $1,000 cash bench warrant for the nonappearance.
Teresa Link, 44, of Rhinelander, pleaded guilty and was found guilty on one felony bail-jumping charge. Branch 1 Judge Martha Milanowski approved a deferred entry of judgment and amended Link’s signature bond conditions during the hearing.
A deferred entry of judgment was also approved for another case involving methamphetamine and narcotic drug possession.
In both cases, a review hearing was scheduled for April 1, 2025.

Cody Garsow, 34, of Three Lakes, pleaded not guilty at an arraignment hearing last week on two felony counts, one for aggravated battery and one for strangulation and suffocation. The defense stated that this case will go to trial. A judicial pretrial was scheduled for April 1, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
