Daniel Frane
Daniel David Frane of Three Lakes, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2025, at the age of 81.
Dan was born in Colby, Wisconsin on October 21, 1943, to Virgil and Pearl (DuVall) Frane. When he was 10, his family moved to Milwaukee where he grew up with six brothers (Michael, Louis, Jeffrey, Thomas, Robert, Joseph) and six sisters (Kathleen, Colleen, Kristine, Teresa, Mary, Lisa), who have remained close throughout their lives.
Dan was united marriage to Pansy Ila in Rhinelander, WI on March 17, 1982. Pansy preceded Dan in death on February 20, 2025.
Dan is survived by his son Jesse and daughter Sara as well as grandchildren Derek, Josiah, Mychal and Cody. He is also survived by numerous stepchildren and step grandchildren.
One of the things Dan loved most was sharing the word and teaching at Mission Bible Training Center in Gaastra, Michigan for almost 40 years. He also enjoyed the Friendship House in Eagle River, WI. He and Pansy took a motorcycle trip to Alaska in their later years, a much dreamed of vacation. He hoped to complete this same trip with his grandson this summer. Dan was also an artist, contractor, logger and hunter and fishern1an. He made friends everywhere he went and easily started conversations with anyone by sharing his faith and love for Jesus.
Daniel's funeral will be held at Three Lakes Evangelical Free Church located at 1814 WI 32 at 1 :00 PM on July 13, 2025. A pot-luck meal will follow at Mollyville, 7634 US-45, Three Lakes, WI.
