The Oneida County Economic Development Corporation will host its free fall summit Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pines Event Center in Rhinelander.
Starting at 11 a.m., the day will consist of a light networking lunch along with information by area business partners including UW-Stevens Point SBDC, local chambers of commerce, Nicolet College, Oneida County Childcare Coalition, and more.
At 11:45 a.m., Molly Gruett, Business Administration instructor for Nicolet College, will lead a talk titled “Work ON Your Business, Not IN Your Business.”
John Koskinen, chief economist for the Department of Revenue, will discuss how the local economy compares to the state and what people can expect going forward starting at noon. Topics will include entrepreneurship, housing and real GDP. Then, a Q&A session will take place at 12:45 p.m.
